We had an excellent recent experience with Zhe Industries replacing our insulation. We received a few different quotes, and Zhe Industries was the only company that mentioned the need for a city permit. That immediately stood out to us. To be sure, I called Virginia Beach Permits and Inspection to verify—and they confirmed that no matter what type of insulation you’re installing or replacing, a permit is required. I really appreciate that Zhe Industries follows the rules and does things the right way instead of cutting corners. That level of honesty and professionalism gave us a lot of confidence in moving forward with them.

Brian came out as promised and gave us a comprehensive review of our current insulation. He answered all of our questions and more. The quote included
venting bath fans through the roof, solar attic vents, and required city permit. The installation crew was great and walked us through the whole process before and answered more questions throughout. They removed all old flooring and replaced it with all new flooring, cleaning up everything before leaving. We were quite impressed and so was the city inspector. Would definitely recommend them.

I had Zhe Industries replace the insulation in my attic and do air sealing. They also pointed out a couple problems, like bathroom fans that weren’t vented correctly, and handled those repairs too. Just being able to go into my attic and not feel like I'm itching has made this all worth it. The crew was professional and respectful, and they explained what they were doing as they went which I appreciated. They’re easy enough to work with and stand behind their work. I had them do my parents’ house first and then mine, and both times the results came out solid. Highly recommend, Brian and his crew know what they're doing.

I don't even know where to start, other than saying, I HIGHLY recommend Zhe Industries! Extremely professional, on time, great communication, respectful and the list goes on. The process from beginning to end was a joy. Even the little details like being asked if they can park in our driveway, to no smoking on the job to avoid smells, to laying down tarp on all surfaces they will be walking on, went such a long way. We recommend this company to anyone looking for services. The finished job is also amazing. It is currently hot and sunny outside and our upstairs AC is actually keeping up with the set temperature and feels great! My home was built in 1988 when little attention was given to attic insulation and sealing. My power bill was over $700 for a 3200 sqft home. I had to do something. Brian with Zhe Industries came out and presented a complete solution at an excellent price that has now more than doubled the R-value of my attic and cleaned it up improving the air quality within my home. He had a very polite and professional 5 person crew come out for two days. They vacuummed out all of the old insulation and nasty stuff that attics tend to accumulate over the years, sealed all of the electrical and HVAC penetrations in the framing and drywall, replaced the attic vent fan, checked the HVAC duct system for leaks with a thermal camera and sealed where needed, replaced the attic decking with one that has a thermal barrier applied, sprayed sanitizer and odor eliminator in the entire space, installed baffles along the attic platform so that the insulation can be full height up to the platform, installed baffles for air flow at my eve vents, and then blew all new insulation.There was an amazing amount of work done for the price and time it took. It was permitted, inspected, and passed the first time by the city of Virginia Beach and warrantied by Owens Corning for 80 years. The whole process was very easy and professional. I would highly recommend Zhe Industries!

From the time we first reached out to Zhe Industries for a quote we felt like we were in good hands. Every member of the company we worked with was kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The price was very fair for the services we were quoted, and they were open and transparent throughout the process. I did my research and really took my time with selecting a company for my insulation. I had 4 estimates, and while they were not the cheapest, they were no where near the most expensive. After talking with my sales representative I quickly had my deduction made before I even received the estimate. The total package that was offered was far superior to the other 3 companies. On installed day, the team showed up on time, and were very professional. They completed my project in one day and met all my expectations. I highly recommend them, and honestly even if they wind up being slightly more expensive on your project, it’s for a reason and you get what you pay for. I will be referring them to all, and I am extremely happy with the services they provided me.

They did an excellent job of installing the insulation in my home. They were prompt and professional throughout the entire process.
They also moved items out of my attic and put back in without any damage. I normally set my thermostat at 71-72 and I feel comfortable everyone else is freezing. After the insulation I have to set the thermostat at 73/74 because I’m freezing with the lower temperature. Also my attic is normally very hot and unbearable in the summer, but now it’s so much cooler and doesn’t feel like a sauna.

Very professional and easy to talk with in all parts of the process. You can tell it’s run and managed by the people you’re speaking with and not some big chain who has to go through 8 chains of command to make a decision. Quality results with small company feel. This was our first big purchase as new home owners and I have zero hesitation that it was a bad choice. I had some issues with my AC about a month after install and the AC guys had to replace a pipe under my house where all the insulation had been put. Zhe industries came back out to make sure everything was still as it should have been under the house!

I had a issue come up in my attic insulation a year after it was installed. I called the company and within a few business days the owner came out and a crew was there to fix it that same day at no cost. The issue turned out to be a recent service bulletin put out by the manufacturer.

On February 21, 2025, you personally visited our home and conducted a thorough assessment of the insulation required to make it less drafty and more energy-efficient. By March 27, 2025, your installation team—comprising Brian E., Dave M., and Conner B.—exceeded all our expectations.

The team began by evacuating the old cellulose insulation, creating new access points in a hard-to-reach gable, and removing the outdated batting insulation. Once the attic was fully cleared, Brian E. meticulously inspected and sealed cracks around the registers and other unwanted openings. The team then disinfected the attic with RMR-141 RTU, Shockwave, and Recon Odor Counteractant. They followed this by installing radiant barriers where necessary and filling the entire attic with Owens Corning ProPink L77 Pink Fiberglass.

Their professionalism was evident throughout the process. The team arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, completed the evacuation efficiently in under four hours, ensured a thorough cleanup, and returned the next day to finish installing the new fiberglass insulation. Their ability to communicate clearly and explain each step was particularly commendable.
